Bianca Clare Fruehan
September 26, 2018
Bianca was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow. A graduate of Scranton Central High School and Marywood University, Bianca was a devoted mother, raising six boys.
Part of her career included working as a licensed Realtor for ERA Realty; and another part — which she loved dearly — was spent employed by the Boys and Girls Club of Scranton. Throughout her life Bianca also volunteered at local charities including the American Red Cross, the Catholic Charities of Scranton, the North Pocono Senior Center, and the North Pocono & Scranton Prep Parents Club (with which she was particularly active).
Always a mother figure to the entire area, beloved by many, and always the wearer of many hats, for her sons Bianca was not only the planner around school, family events, and countless practices, but also she was the family “bus driver” to each new activity, and the cook for all of us each day. As a mother in a household of young athletes, Mom always made certain we represented our teams in freshly washed uniforms — the brightest and the cleanest, each game.
Surviving are her sons Pat Fruehan and wife Seeta; Dr. James R. Fruehan and wife Debra; Mark D. Fruehan and wife Cherie; and Jeffrey C. Fruehan. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren: James, Magdalena, Jake, Roman, Marcella, Athena, Dede; and also nephews.
